I have this
Dell

Pentium M 1.4
512 mb ram
Mobility Radeon 9000 - 64mb video ram
1 mb cache L2
60 hz refresh rate monitor LCD

last time i played CC generals, it fried my Video card for some reason and had to call dell and get a replacement. So rite now, im still fearing the frying of laptop stuffs....

Anyone got any game recommendations that would run fairly smootly on that system?

I suggest you play

Max Payne 1/2
Half Life (and its expansions)
Homeworld
No One Lives Forever 1/2
Final Fantasy 7/8 if you're into RPGs

Thats all I can think of at the moment, but there are tonnes of great games that you can play. You can also emulate many systems, up to the PSX/N64, rather smoothly. If you're into that kind of thing.

I kno.. too much alcohol..
btw i started to do gaming this term.. I don't know why but it boosts my tests marks :S
Eg.
Before killing ppl, maths result: 88 (7th)
After killing ppl, maths result: 94 (2nd)
Apparently it causes me to concentrate more during tests
