okay so this whole thing is going be fairly fail and i'm pretty sure 90% of the entire list is going to consist of like..... radiohead, oasis, the pixies, the smiths, muse, nirvana etc.... but anyway

for you kids who haven't voted yet, there's no actual list, you have to type in each individual artist/song choice and it searches from like a database. works fine for some songs/artists but for others there seems to be multiple options for the one song which kind of puts it as a disadvantage unless they somehow combine all the votes at the end

i.e.

anyway, this is what i voted for..... not necessarily my favorite 10 songs of all time however i only bothered to vote for ones that i thought would at least have a slight chance of making the final 100, there's probably a whole bunch of stuff i've forgotten about but it makes it hard not having a list to look at

The Strokes - Last Nite
The Living End - Prisoner Of Society
Death Cab for Cutie - The New Year
Panic at the Disco - Nine In The Afternoon
blink-182 - I Miss You
Jimmy Eat World - The Middle
Weezer - Buddy Holly
No Doubt - Don't Speak
Bob Marley - One Love
Bob Marley & The Wailers - Three Little Birds

also,

The countdown will start on Tuesday 7th July and we'll slowly reveal the list across the week and countdown the entire 100 across Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th July with a big finale.
not really sure why they're choosing to do it that way, seems like a pretty fail idea tbh

so what have you all voted for?

I'm guessing not a fan of the last few then... I'll be surprised if The Beatles and Nirvana are not there I swear if something crap like Paramore or Fall Out Boy is on there I will murder every bloody 15 year old scene kid/Pete Wentz fangirl that exists
