I've been wearing speedos since I started swimming (and that was when I was 7) and as such used to them. I tried board shorts once but never liked them. People keep telling me to switch but I don't see how boardies can be better than budgie smugglers :D
Although I have to say the only time I've regretted wearing speedos was when my friend dacked me whilst I was wearing them...

Anyone else have the same view/similar experience?

LOL. That happened to me when I was like 12 and my friend saw my bottom instead of my 'little bro'

If it feels good, wear it?

I mean, there's other pros and cons but ultimately, no one cares that much about which you wear.

I'm pretty sure most people do care when they see a guy in speedos. It shows that he has confidence, self-control, wang etc. Theyre quite significant, as far as the casual social swimming world goes imo.
But if youre unfit, then we're just talking about some gender-based marxist feel-good exhibitionism. This should be suppressed violently

You can always just substitute for both by wearing what the pros do, a fully body skin, or just pant skins. They work well but take some time to adjust into...

and just for the record, I used to be a dick sticker kid while I was an enthuastic swimmer, I couldn't handle competitive swimming in boardshorts. But now that's what I wear, since I don't compete anymore.

Why didn't you just stick with speedos instead of going with boardies?

Guys should just go with whats more practical; ie speedos indoors/for laps and boardies outside

People need to get over the scary thought that guys have something down there

If people are fat, their appearance isn't helped much by wearing boardies anyway (which don't cover the tummy flab)
