Not feasible in all instances. When you are mining coal one way or another you are going to have to wreck shit up. long wall mining is far more dangerous and expensive than open cut, for example. people complain about the public service but don't want to pay taxes to fix such problems. It is these people who are fucking imbeciles.

Tax is fundamentally necessary to all rational, progressive societies. Just look at the social democratic Nordic model, they shit all over us in terms of quality of life, public services, etc indexes.

I don't think you can easily acquaint fiscal and public expenditure with incidences of debt. The US spends proportionately less on it's public services than the social democratic nations, and yet has more debt.
