Hi, I selected Bio, Phys, Chem, Eng.Adv, Eng Ext1, Maths and Music 2 for my Yr 11 subjects. It's a massive workload I know, I'm also studying my L.Mus and it's all getting a bit hard. Has anyone else done all three sciences. Should I drop one and do D & T or something more creative which is where my strengths lie. I probably want to do a science degree, and whilst I study hard, I'm not going to study for endless hours each night as I like having a great social life. Advice.....please! My school says it's ok to change a subject now, but I've got to be quick!

Doing 3 sciences I would have thought you'd be doing MX1 as well.

@OP

If your strengths lie on the creative subjects I suggest go for the creative subjects :p

I know this from heart coz I knew I should've forged the form to change physics to chinese continuers in the beginning of term 1 =_=

I think you should drop the subject you dont like the most, and/or the one with the most workload

oh and I'm doing AMus this year... when are you doing your LMus?

I'll see how I go this Sept, otherwise it'll be next Sept. what instrument do you play? Hang on, Chinese...got to be violin or piano. LOL! My sister's doing her AMus in piano but has no hope as picked up very bad habits from previous teacher so now has to spend time getting rid of them.

lol i play piano xD
yeah well since you're in year 11 it's best you complete it this year
if you screw up your subjects for this year it doesn't matter, as long as you don't screw up the HSC you should be fine :p

lol i had pretty bad habits until recently
i used to play piano only once a week... like i crammed certificate within the last 3 weeks and got a B+ xD

but omg I'm still hoping I can pass AMus... idk man.. might have a shit examiner =_=

I would recommend you play to your strengths.
