The Casio fx82au plus calculator. Why would you need anything else? So smooth and shiny, keeps me warm at night.

I have two :)
One for general math (grpahics casio)
and one for chem/bio (casio82)
they are both quite lovable, and easy to make sense of :)

Pain having to switch between the two though. And the battery is a pain to change in the 82, you need a screw driver and things, which in a test is kinda a pain...

Bought a Sharp EL-531WH from the school in Year 8 and it's the only calculator I've used. On my second one because a friend broke my other one, but I have other friends who have had the same one for 4-5 years and its still working.

I get all confused when I use a Casio D:

I switched from Sharp to Casio in 09. I don't regret the decision. Casio FX-82AU PLUS is great but I suggest you use what you've been using so you don't get confused or waste time trying to figure it out.

yes they do (in the actual hsc externals), but given the amount of people they have to screen, its not very indepth.

I have a casio.

But wait, how come my casio has never had to have a battery change? I've had it for over 3 years now. What if it dies in the middle of my HSC? How long do the batteries last haha?
