Is it worth going to matrix for science and Maths and what are the prices?
Is it also better to get a private tutor for english or go to a group/college?

English is ALWAYS better to have it private
as everyone studies different prescribed and related texts
if you are in need for an English tutor, send me an email at doctorjayraj@gmail.com

Matrix is usually very overpriced tbh. Quality is good but in ratio to the price, not worth it.

Hmm, i'd recommend he just get a private tutor for science tbh. I mean one of the major pluses for Matrix are its resources but he can just buy books/do past papers. Private tutors would go through the content at the rate he wishes (unlike most tutoring colleges) and still would cost less than matrix (try not to get a student teacher unless they're really good).

Maybe Talent 100 is an option. It's still fking expensive but less so than matrix and from what i've heard they've got better resources/teachers.

Work on your own.

If you desperately need extra help get a private tutor for English, and go for group tutoring for maths/phys/chem.

If you are struggling with group tutoring, get a private tutor for those subjects.

Fair advice.

True, what's to say you even need a tutor in the first place? Just work hard.

$1188 per term for phy /chem, and double the price if you are doing 3u maths at matrix (since it's 3hours)

i THINK. either that ,or the price is higher up

maybe OP needed some discipline and motivation and increased competition
Excuses for laziness imo. He hasn't even started the course so he probably doesn't even know how he'll cope. (then again that's hypocritical from me as i go for 4 unit).

If you really suck, then go. But if you're not and get around 80%, study by yourself or go to a cheaper tutor. Expensive tutors aren't always the best.
