depend on the scaling. getting 16/20 in mx2 is different from getting 16/20 in general.Just get 16/20+ for your assessments and you'll get borderline band 6.
This is the key, cramming will get you a high band 6 at best, instead of doing 1 or 2 subjects intensely each night try studying ALL of your subjects each night even if it is for a shorter period of time..Depends on the subject. And the workload would vary from person to person.
Though generally, most people would have to put in a consistent effort throughout the year.

you got no fkn idea what your tlkn bout bro... you dont need to be studying 6 hours a night to get a band 6...and theres shit loads of people who have a good social life and are just as smartyeah people are being particularly nasty and i dont know why
but really i dont think many people can say they got a band six without putting some work in. i mean the hsc is pretty easy, get a copy of the syllabus and you can rote learn that shit mostly.
