I went last weekend and whilst the machines have been updated over the years, it still feels largely the same as it was before. I'm tempted to get back into DDR and get fit again, but will avoid WMMT after spending WAY too much $$ on that game.

Too overpriced; net cafe is so much cheaper.

Online games and console games (and then net cafes) have totally ripped arcades to part. But there is still something fun about playing a quick 5 minute game of some form at an arcade.

Occasionally timezone @ liverpool
I don't spend much when I go there, like play a game or two, watch people lose their money then go :)

I went to Timezone in Hornsby tonight. Played a couple of games of DDR (man I'm unfit now, I failed on Witch Doctor heavy single) as well as the good ol' Maximum Tune (3DX+ now).

Man I haven't played MT in so long I used to play that every Thursday at Hornsby with school friends after sport. We would always get the $20 blitz and a $5 feed from Maccas. I lost my MT cards though so I quit like 2 years ago almost.

I think I stashed my original R34 GTR from WMMT1 somewhere... but yeah I came across my 3DX+ cards the other day so thought I may as well.

LOL I went for Timezone Powerclub day today and played DDR for a very long time. I'm feeling a bit fitter now!

Hey guys,

I'm planning to take my bf to an arcade place for an hour or two on his birthday haha. Is Timezone or Galaxy World better? and is it best if i get those charge card things?

Cute :) I think Galaxy is bigger and has more stuff if you're looking at George St; but I personally prefer Timezone. It's less "gangstery".
