hey guys,

So at the moment the divorce rate in Australia is around 40%..
if i recall the statistics right, it peaked in the early 2000s, then has been stable since then, at around 40%.

what do you think it will be in 20 years?

do you think with the social acceptance of de-facto relationships, the divorce rate will decline further?

let's keep discussion of same sex marriage out of the equation for now (let's count them as de-facto relationships),

It will stay at that percentage in my opinion. Is there a correlation between people marrying young (under 22 years of age) and divorce?

False.

You can only deduce she's the 'one' if you've dated the other few billion eligible women on the planet. Until then you are 'hoping' you've chosen the one.
May have sounded a bit ominous =). You can still have a fulfilling and excellent relationship, of course. I just have an aversion to this 'she's the one' rubbish.

This.

Marriage is silly and causes many a fight.
