The point of all this is that UNSW is lame.
Yeah, if you're lame go to UNSWThe point of all this is that UNSW is lame.
People say this but I don't get why, UNSW has a better O-week, Oktoberfest and all these other lame ass boozefests where people from other unis horde at.Yeah, USyd probably is socially better.
spot onThe point of all this is that UNSW is lame.
But at USyd the Engineering societies are the ones that have these events whereas, UNSW is for like everyone (ew) and also SHADES.People say this but I don't get why, UNSW has a better O-week, Oktoberfest and all these other lame ass boozefests where people from other unis horde at.
UNSW USyd > UTSUNSW is way better than UTS
Nah, USYD is shit for eng imo, its good for med and law (not even law)UNSW USyd > UTS
ummm what?Nah, USYD is shit for eng imo, its good for med and law (not even law)
Lamer than UoW though? (no, because I go to USyd and that pulls it up a lot (inb4 UWS becomes best uni in Australia next year))Also, USYD is lame too
They're pretty equal in lameness.Lamer than UoW though? (no, because I go to USyd and that pulls it up a lot (inb4 UWS becomes best uni in Australia next year))
no. lolUNSW better for law tho
look, all unis are lame if you're just there for the degree, but socially I like USyd.They're pretty equal in lameness.
Yep, that's pretty much what I'm getting at. It doesn't really matter what you go to for a degree. It's what else you want to get out of the uni.look, all unis are lame if you're just there for the degree, but socially I like USyd.
other than that most unis have similar course structures and teaching and shit.
I'm glad a 10 year old knows more from what he has read from basement azns that have no idea what they are saying on a student forum, than what I know from first hand experience.USYD is good for space engineering, shit for all other engineering (it is a fact)
Hence why i said "seem". I'm just going off what i have read on BOS, whirlpool and heard from friends and older students.I'm glad you had time to complete the degree at USyd to be able to know this. lol
It's representative of the time it was built, there are buildings of similiar style that were built around the same time at other universities (i.e. Macquarie) but they aren't as prominent as the tower or in the CBD so nobody cares. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brutalist_architectureYour building looks like a fucking mass-jenga building. What sort of architect or engineer would design that?!
I don't doubt that, but i haven't had any problems with making friends here and there are regular events and societies. The two big societies at UTS are EngSoc and BIG (the IT society).Yeah, USyd probably is socially better.
I only did 2unit, if i remember correctly (HSC Plus is different this year) there were very few bonus points on offer for 2unit and i didn't get a band 6 in it anyway. Even if the cut offs are higher in main round there were places left in what i was applying to during the late and final rounds and they dropped into the high 80s.how did you get rejected for software engg at UNSW? The cutoff is only 91 plus you would've gotten bonus points for maths (lol, wait, wot maths did you do?)
and the cutoff at USyd for BE(software) last year was 91.8... 0.8 above UNSW. :/
Just because one uni has more areas to specialise in than another doesn't instantly mean the other is useless. If that was the case then you'd have to just admit that UNSW > Usyd. All this establishes is that if you want to get in on the latest boom like Petroleum or Mining Engineering or are set on a relatively specific field you are better off going to UNSW or possibly Usyd.USyd has more of those than UTS. lol
And we're the joke? lol, okay.
not even Go8
