kebabs and shenanigans with my fellow gtir owners... mines at the back, barely visable...
yeah met them on a gtir forum...^^Lol at the car with turds on the roof (the yellow one). That stuff is terrible considering that it damages the paint.
But its nice that you have meats with them lol. Did you meet them on a GTIR forum?
ROFL. How did yours fair in comparison to theirs?yeah met them on a gtir forum...
turned into a fault finding mission on each car where we were trying to fix them on the spot...
'bout the same... looking reasonably well on face value; whole bunch of gremlins upon further inspection...ROFL. How did yours fair in comparison to theirs?
Lol. Did any of them have a different turbo fitting to yours?'bout the same... looking reasonably well on face value; whole bunch of gremlins upon further inspection...
Not often can you get that power out of an old modified AWD.the black one at the front with the normal n14 bonnet...
his getting a good 230kw at all four... his running an external wastegate with screamer pipe and all... things absolutely mental... it can wake up the whole neighbourhood...

Certainly not mine anymore...
It's a fair bit at the wheels but so many old awd cars can reach that haha.
Tbh almost every single turbo awd can reach that, some easily (tune, exhaust etc.) and others require a bit more money (new turbo). The gearbox on both the average Subie and a GTiR will be pretty stressed at that kind of power, some of the cars below that won't be the case. What other old 90's AWD cars that can reach that on all four (Other than the Subaru's)?
Yes, and no... There was a Bluebird with the ATTESA drive train... However, It was only a specific model that was available in Japan... Rules and Regs for compliance in Australia don't allow you to import them for road use (unless, it's imported under the personal import scheme... whole different ball game and many hoops to go though for little reward)... Essentially, it is the same box on the FWD models (different final drive gear); no transfer case on the FWD models as well... With that said, I certainly would not be putting a U13 box on my GTIR (it's not that it wont fit, it's just that it's different)... Unless of course, it's the box from the U13 ATTESA...Tbh almost every single turbo awd can reach that, some easily (tune, exhaust etc.) and others require a bit more money (new turbo). Some mostly 90s cars off the top of my head:
- Bluebird SSS, similar drive train to the GTiR
I only get 9.5ish only a city/freeway and the best I've done is a 7.8 driving down to MelbourneMy car glugs about 16L for every 100kms.
That's pretty good if its tuned by STI (I'm guessing its a 3.0R?)I only get 9.5ish only a city/freeway and the best I've done is a 7.8 driving down to Melbourne
