For those new to UNSW, are you guys able to access moodle? It won't let me log in for some reason. I've got access to everything else - myUNSW, zMail, Identity Manager.

I attended UNSW for the first half of last year before transferring out. (and now I'm back, who would've thought) I already had a zID and zMail that just had to be reactivated.

For some damned reason, my zpass stops working after a few hours. I have to reset it using MyIdentity and then it will work again when logging into MyUNSW. This is the same for my friend.

If anyone's having problems logging into anything, call UNSW's IT service! 9385 1333 is their number, and they're open until I think 6 or 8pm.

(I'm new to this forum so sorry if I post this in the wrong place)

@ anyone studying a JD: is it better to use a laptop to take notes or handwrite in class? I wrote my notes throughout my undergrad degree, but law might have a heavier workload.

Just noticed this on an email for accepting my scholarship:

"Welcome Function: All new scholarship holders will be invited to attend a function to welcome them to UNSW. An email invitation will be sent closer to the time."

Anyone know what this is about? Never heard of it lol :S

I remember them having this last year. Iirc it was just a lunch meet up or something (I got AAA so I was invited at the time).

There might be more though. Not sure if there is one, but there could be a dinner or something for your specific scholarship.

I think a broader opinion will yield much more and better advice. I'm all for someone making a thread specific for themselves or reading a similar thread for their own needs.

plus, it also seems unfair someone is getting help for something someone else might be having a problem with

and to add to AD; there are probably a hundreds of questions you guys all want answers to, so someone may be in the same boat as you. Make a thread and you might get a reply
