By the way, how was MATH3066? I'll probably end up doing that next year.

MATH3066 was just a very long exam, the content itself isn't really too difficult.

I think I'll still get quite a good mark for it though, but MATH2962 on the other hand I'm expecting about 70 now

Also which room were you in? I was in S223. Wonder if we were in the same one.

I got absolutely rekt'd, it doesn't even fully describe how i'm feeling right now, holy shit. I'm expecting a 20/60 or so for the written response and a 18/20 for multiple choice for MATH1902. I'm out.

That's a bit harsh indeed. Most maths exams that I have had only had 4 or 5 questions (apart from MATH2061 which had 2 papers with 4 questions each)

I actually counted the number of parts i left blank and they add to approximately this 3+12+4+12. Not including the computational errors.

I'm also suffering badly from two advanced maths subjects at senior level. The conclusion is that I've overestimated myself.

This is actually a big problem that I had with first year maths. I believe I had timing problems for every single one of my exams, even though the content wasn't actually that hard. So for next semester, try to work on your speed.

WTF why can't you just cross-out a multiple choice answer and re-colour in the correct ones like you did in the HSC (suspect it may be electronically marked). Also SIX choices for multiple choice!

The questions weren't so hard themselves, but I got lost trying to multiply matrices, and had to restart when I got some wrong

I need to invest myself in a rubber and pencil lol, this is the 2nd exam I've sat already and couldn't change my answers.

I wrote almost 3000 words on cannibalism in the 19th century today while making an argument that the imagined space of the South Seas (aka Pacific) allowed for a discussion of what was human rational thought vs aggressive animal instinct in light of Darwin's Origin of the Species for American literature.

Eh it's because the content is so easy that they make the exams long.

Though it's definitely do-able. I was in the SSP maths class last year and like half the class got 95+ and the other half got at least a HD.

Some one I know got 99 in both MATH1901/MATH1902, as well as 98 in MATH2962 (accelerated).

People are just freaks.
