Median hovers at 99.1-.2 year to year (last year was .1)
As to looking down on, no one really cares as long as you achieve your own aims to get into the uni course you're interested in lol
Although, good is usually considered .35+ since you get a certificate every semester at a year assembly if you achieve this atar estimate wise. Really good/godly is probably .85+
