Just wanted to know about any predictions or info that some of you may have on what the short answer or section 3 and 4 would look like in the hsc business exam this year.

i hate studying for business, but at least for essay, its highly likely it will be finance. im pretty sure it hasn't come up as an essay question for a few years now. Both catholic and independent papers this yr also predict a finance essay.

Essay-
Finance: This is because finance was there for the report for the last 3 years in a row
HR: This might not be accurate but HR was in report last year so this year it might be an option for the essay.

Report-
Operation: This is because operations has been as an option for essay since last 2 years so I think it'll be there for report this time.
Marketing: Similarly, this might not be accurate but marketing was an option in the essay last year, so this year it might be there for report.

Oh wow, I had the same layout for trials as well. I heard quite a few schools had this layout- maybe their way of predicting the HSC essay and report.

Same as soon as I go to study business, I just close the tab. I know its piss easy but somehow I've been averaging less than 60% in internals although it's cuz of my shitty school markers. External gotta save me

not sure why people hate finance so much, i find ops and hr so dry, when i do them i reconsider my subject selection

We are 200% getting a finance essay. Last time finance was tested (according to my hsc marker teacher), NESA wasn't happy because the split of what students picked was not even. So I'll guess they'll pair it with human resources (since marketing and operations are generally more well liked). I think they're both going to be tough questions so that there's a more even split too.
