My school in 2010 was ranked 629th http://bettereducation.com.au/Results/HSC/2010/Hsc1Page.aspx
We now have only jumped up 100 spots ^_^ The stigma was more imposed by our community and region, so myself and the girl made sure we rubbed it in all their noses when we were in the local paper....
We probably have had 5 people above 90 (UAI/ATAR) in the passed 8 years.. And 2 of them were myself and another girl in my year...

Just a casual comment about how the Gold Coast premeds are quite nerdy. Don't know if that's true or not. 99.7. Cutoff for 2011 was 99.85 (Feb Round)

Depends if I get in. I suppose it might be good because it offers smaller class sizes than other universities (at least for Med Science). And it's on the Gold Coast. It's just that I've heard negative comments about the pre-med students there and I was slightly apprehensive.
You go to Griffith's Gold Coast campus. Can you tell me more about the general atmosphere of the uni there? -
