Where at, as a drama major?

Hey. My interest in theatre probably stemmed from my dad. He's done a lot of amateur theatre shows over the years, so I was often being taken along to musicals and performances. I did Drama in high school, and my first out of school show in around year 11. Since then I haven't looked back. It's all about volunteering yourself into as many things as possible, to get your foot in. Check out local theatre in your area, and see what's available. They're always looking for people to help backstage, if that's what your into. Otherwise, it's usually just an audition. Lots of amatuer companies will cast most people that audition (even if it is only ensemble). It's all about just getting out there and giving it a go.
