I like beer. This may seem like an obvious thing to say (perhaps not quite so obvious as a statement such as "I like breathing", but close). But it's true. I really, really like beer.

I don't mean just any beer, though. You can keep your Tooheys and VB, thank you very much, 'cause I'm a beer snob and proud of it.

My road to beer snobbery began back in university. Like most students, the main
