well, the core purpose was to get out of the BOS community for a bit. I was getting too exposed on the website and that was affecting my own privacy too. I will resolve that problem by restricting my action on certain threads (A.K.A. chatting threads)
BTW, by "chatting" I am not referring to this convo that I am having on my page...

Not much. It's like a popularity contest I guess. This rep system has existed since the beginning but stopped at the end of 2005 and now it's brought back. That's why all the "old" memberrs have all these points.
