I am studying a double degree in Accounting and Applied Finance and ultimately see myself working in an investment bank or performing work within corporate finance at a big four accountancy firm.
I have just recently been offered a Graduate role within Transfer Pricing team at Deloitte.
Q1) From your experience, what can I expect to be doing as a Graduate based on what you're doing?
Q2) What are the career prospects in TP? Will it help me get into Corp Finance?
Q3) Salary as compared to corp finance, audit, etc for starting salary and beyond.
When I was offered a position within TP by my partner and directors face-to-face over lunch on my last day at vaccie work within Corp and Int Tax, they said I can expect to be involved in financial and economic analysis, stock market prices, using Bloomberg, compliance, etc.... I was basically under the impression that this role is very finance-involved.
