Okay. Sorry I do not understand human.What?Haha. I think I know the reason. You see textbook questions are very much different from past paper questions. The style is different. Generally the textbook will enforce repetition whilst a past paper will test your understanding. This is why it is important to do some under examination conditions. Not only does it give you practice, but gives you a chance to fix up any weak spots. Good luck!You seem worried. I would strongly suggest doing the Sydney Boys papers. I would think that they are easy but, some questions are a set for silly mistakes. If you can combat those, you are fine. Try the 2004 one if you have it or I can send it to you.That should be okay. Why?Grab a past paper from SBHS. Do it. See which topics you are weak at. Cover that. (Under examination conditions of course.) Sorry I was at a HSC senimar.

The relationship between brightness and luminosity is,
brightness = luminosity/ 4 pi r^2
So if one is brighter than the other, say at 5 and other at 6.
We get,
6=luminosity/4 pi r^2
5=luminosity/4 pi r^2
If they had the same radius, then the one with brightness 6 will have a higher luminosity. But however, there might be a difference in size. So it is not necessarily true.No. Luminosity is the rate at which a star emits energy, it is the measure of the total power emitted by the star. Brightness of a star is a measure of the intensity of radiation arriving at Earth from the star. So if they are still the same distance apart, the luminosity will vary due to factors of surface temperature and the size. Luminosity is independent of the distance.I don't think I do.
