Hi, I would like to know what the hourly rates are for tutors at different colleges?

Both are pretty similar and at the end of the day can be used for related jobs. Economics is more about looking at big picture/grand scheme of things in the economy where as commerce can vary from anything to do with banking with finance, insurance with actuarial, accounting or some of the less...

Yep good school if you want a high ATAR but you forget about all your extra curriculars and other stuff, lol

You guys are whining now but just imagine someone acing maths/science/languages, getting a high ATAR and then entering university into degrees like Law, Commerce or Medicine - whereas someone who is actually passionate about the subject may miss out. I agree the syllabus needs to be changed...

Above posters are being a bit pessimistic. You have an OUTSIDE chance at a shot of a 97,98 if you can top your cohort in the externals for most of your subjects, especially English...But atm you're sitting at about 94...

Lol, even if this is true which I think is pretty exaggerated they are not 'guaranteed' a 99.95, they have to work just as hard as someone who goes to a comprehensive high school and gets the same result..

Only if you tied first... Pretty much what this means is that even after 1 whole year of testing you're equal then it is likely to be the case in actual HSC as well - so you're not going to be negatively affected unless the other person really bombs out.

lol, doing a physics degree for HSC Physics is overkill tbh...

+1, as long as you have the analysis and evidence there you can't go wrong. Tbh, HSC is more about HOW you write rather than WHAT you write about, as long as you are within the confines of the given question of course.

Past papers (HSC!!) should be the way to go now

Hint: The divisibility rule for 8 is that the last digits must be divisible by 8. For e.g. 99008 is divisible by 8 but not 999999. Try going from there...

Take it up with head teacher and really try attempt to get those final assessment marks before the HSC...

Only another 2 months to go and then you get a 3 months holiday!!. So just keep at it, and remember why are you are in school studying in the first place...Also try studying with some friends to regain your motivation

Textbooks should form the bare minimum for Maths study. Imo once you have a VAGUE conceptual understanding of all the topics you should move straight onto past paper/exam questions...

+1, make sure to put in some kind of offer. You can change it after you receive your HSC results
