hmmm, you need permission from your faculty to overload. coz you can't enrol in more than 24 uoc on my.unsw (in mine anyway) I'm not sure if you can substitue something you did in Mac and transfer the credit to UNSW gen ed. Ask your faculty also.

it's almost impossible to get 2 days off unless you're underloading, or doing a arts degree.

You don't have to study physics, and I recommand you to do something else if you're not really into physics. Physics is NOT a prerequisites to ANY of your second year course and won't help you much. I did both psychology and HPS. I enjoyed HPS better because psyc is just plain boring to me...

Clarification: - I don't think there is tut for BIOS1201. Didn't they give you a CD when you purchase your lab manual? You suppose to dedicate 1 hour a week to study one of the tutorial in your CD. The tut lab that they posted on the site is for when you have difficulties understanding...

for me, since lab are 3 hours, i can take 3 hours. i also can take 2 lectures or 1 lec, 1 tut before my lab, so 5 is max for me :D Any longer i can't concentrate. so 3 hours of lecture is max for me.

Yes, you rarely see them associate with other students from other faculties. this is because they have their own little world and don't have any common classes with other people. In science you mix with arts, engineer people in lectures, but med is just MED!

yeh you'll be fine if you have friends helping you out and listening to the lecture tapes for psyc. Why are so many of you doing psyc as an elective? there are so many science subjects more interesting than psyc! :D
