High scores on tests like the HSC and the SAT's aren't directly correlated to a persons IQ. It's a contributing factor but obviously many other factors affect those scores.

Obviously very smart but IQ =/= SAT scores, ATAR etc Fuck the smartest guy in our grade only got an 89 atar, as opposed to all the asians who got beaten by their parents and got 99+
