A lot of mindmapping for physics and english. helps you see the relationships between different areas and concepts visually which helps me remember information better. teaching an imaginary noob also works. How Does State Ranking Work For Maths Std 2 Here?

yeah i mean in a perfect world you would give all working and explanations anyway but it eats too much time writing every step down. if you are looking for the state rank then yea it would be best to write as much as you can without eating too much time

    Inverse trig

    Hi you might not need help anymore but: Let A = arctanx Therefore tanA = x Using the identity Cot(90 - x) = tanx (will use pi/2 = 90 for easier visibility) x = cot(90-A) arccotx = 90-A sub arctanx = A arccotx = 90-arctanx therefore arctanx+arccotx = 90 (pi/2)

How to approach Japanese as a HSC subject?

Have a go practicing with your friends, set a weekly time or multiple times where you will meet up and practice speaking. Speaking and listening is the number 1 way you can improve at a language from what i've heard.

Can someone explain to me how the depth studies work?

like any experiemnts you do in class i believe count towards those hours, although literally no one counts how much time you spend. the experiments should always go through what you are already learning in class; e.g you learn about friction and you will conduct an experiment on friction, depth...
