People shouldn't worry about scaling. As long as you ace all of your subjects scaling won't affect you.

I'm learning new words at the moment. It is really easy to pick them up i.e. memorise them easily. Every time I will hear a word that i'm not familiar with from now on I will look it up in the dictionary.

standard and advanced get scaled the same, there is just one outcome that standard doesn't have that prevents a lot of students from getting 80+ in standard.
