I think that's good, but as the year progresses you will inevatibly need to increase the hours due to certain factors, such as workload, assignments, assessment tasks etc.. My advice to you is that you should not spend more time on one subject and completely ignore the other. Distribute time...

100% - NO WAY! your assessment are worth 50% and you have only completed one assessment task so far and that is only worth, 20% as per my school's weighting

Extension English is the BEST! Undoubtedly, it's a subject which offers an insight into our society, the world... I think you should re-consider your decision! Maybe you can join the class again?

OMG! That's the worst elective anyone can ever do!! It's boring, uniteresting...... I can feel your pain! Why don't you simply ask your headteacher to change the elective? I mean, we were provided with a few choices and trial classess for each elective, and we had to pick one! I really wanted...

Why would you hate Extension English 1? It's the best! I guess, it depends on the module and elective you are studying? I'm undertaking the Crime writing elective in Module A:) It's quite interesting, but i can tend to boring at times!! Overall, Very interesting!! :D

Most FAVOURITE: English Advanced, English Extension 1, English Extension 2 and all my other subjects Least FAVOURITE: Nothing (Though Chemistry can sometimes tend to be a little annoying!)

That's not entirely true! If the principal feels that the students are not working hard,they can consult BOS and ask for their permission! They started some new program, which transfer the low scoring students in other institutions... Quite complex

What school are you guys from? My school's being extremely strict with our results - the people remaining at our school in year 12 are the one who are continuing the HSC course - whole grade: 100 peopleor so.. maybe 150-200 not more than that.
