Good conversation starter to a random girl.

    "So, you ride trains, ey?"

    Hows it going?

Communications, I'm guessing. Agreed. Except our parking situation has to be one of the worst. If I was always guaranteed a legal park SOMEWHERE on uni grounds, I'd be content.

PSU blown up...third time within a year

It wasn't you, it was the psu. I used to have the same sort of PSU, except mine was a lower wattage. Our house suffers pretty common black outs/power surges so I think that is what stuffed mine up. What happened was the computer wouldn't always power up properly when I pressed the on button. At...

    General Electives

I'm doing an eng. degree, and I'm only doing 2 subjects this semester, but I need to do 3 so I can get centrelink money. I have a General Elective in 4th year, so am I allowed to do that now and just pick something easy? Also, if I do it and I'm not allowed, would the uni ring me or just let me...

Need some advice on Engineering and CompSc

If you couldn't handle doing 3unit maths in high school, I wouldn't even bother attempting to do any of the telecom/elec/comp engineering programs. Haha, really?

    Photonics?

No. A lot of the first year subjects don't overlap, so you will probably be at a disadvantage if you change your major.

    Medical Radiation Science??

Basically what sort of equipment you use when you finish the degree. DR is all about x-rays, ct's, MRI and ultrasounds. NM is using isotopes and such to diagnose, so PET for example. RT is what they do to cure cancer. If you want more information, look at all of the courses in each of the...

    Google + Davinci Code

Re: Google + Davinci Code prizes I like the challenge. Also, if there's one thing I've learned in life, it's that logic is much more useful than memory and comprehension skills.

    Google + Davinci Code

Re: Google + Davinci Code prizes That chess one yesterday was a bitch, I kept getting confused between the the pieces.

    xml viewer

Shouldn't matter, I've got copies of logs from my old computer and as long as the xml file is in the same directory as that xsl file, they open fine, just with explorer. They do have some formatting issues with firefox, but are still readable. The only other alternatives I can think of is the...

    xml viewer

Do you have the "MessageLog.xsl" file in the same dirrectory? Without the xsl stuff it would just display the page as the source code wihtout formatting.
