Director's cut is the original 1945 version with the scene in the DA's office, without the scene of Marlowe and Vivian in the resturant. The movie was altered into the 1946 version to put in more scenes between Marlowe and Vivian, to capitalise upon Bogart/Bacalls's romance/relationship off-screen.

100/120 raw is nearer to a band 6 in the external HSC exam.

You don't get extra UAI points, but the course cut-off is lowered for you. And I'm not sure that there is something like that that is happening, the Elite Athletes Scheme might be what you are thinking about but I don't think it works that way.

There's also a set of independant papers (not CSSA) that are used by some schools, but I'm not sure which schools use then, if they are actually what I think they are.
