    99.85 UNSW Med/JRAHS - Tutoring Chemistry, Physics, Maths2U

Alright, I'm almost booked out for students at this point. Students near UNSW preferred now because of travel and timetabling. If you're contacting me, let me know where/what school/what subjects so if I can't take you on I can at least try to refer you on to some good tutors.

    Who Tutors at a Library?

University libraries are useful because they're usually noisy enough for you to get away with talking, but quiet enough for a decent amount of focus. They're good for my students because they're fairly easy to get to, and provide a pretty good learning environment, without all the distractions...

How many hours of co-corricular is everyone doing?

Hang on to your exercise and co-curricular activities for as long as you can, IMHO. The more you do, the busier you are. The busier you are, the more efficient you become - because you become a master of productive procrastination. It's a trend that continues well into university. The...

    99.85 UNSW Med/JRAHS - Tutoring Chemistry, Physics, Maths2U

Hi kangling, I can only really do Epping/Macq/UNSW libraries due to public transport arrangements. The only other I can do is Strathfield but that's ~20mins walk from the station so it is not ideal. If travel is an issue you may need to seek someone else unfortunately.

    "DON'T do medicine"

Loved the response by BillyBob (in the link): "While I find this article entertaining, and mostly correct, we must keep in mind that a positive attitude and outlook are essential qualities to any successful professional. No matter what job you choose, there are plusses and minuses. Medicine...

    99.85 UNSW Med/JRAHS - Tutoring Chemistry, Physics, Maths2U

Hi all, I am a fourth-year medical student at studying Medicine at UNSW. In my HSC, I achieved a UAI of 99.85 (see below) with band 6 results in 16 units; and attended James Ruse, earning an Australian Student Prize and Premier's Award for All-Round Excellence. At university, I earned the...

Did tutoring help you with school work?

Personally, I didn't have a tutor during my HSC, and it is definitely possible to do well without a huge deal of formal help. However, this relied upon a good knowledge of the syllabus requirements, logical explanations of concepts, good answering technique, and lots of hard work. The first...

    2011 HSCers offer tutoring?

While the class of 2011 is waiting for results, I'm sure there are plenty of older students from 2010 and previous who are keen to help out. I know you're after Economics (sorry!), but on the off chance that other students are reading, I'm up for tutoring Chem/Physics/Maths2U if anyone's...

How do you get 90+ in all subjects??

Work hard and play hard. Many students I know were doing well with 2-3 hours of study per day and managed to keep a balance with co-curricular activities. Crank it up when exams are approaching - especially before Trials and the Final Frontier. Some subjects (e.g. maths, sciences) need a...

    Distinction Courses

For some reason, distinction course marks entered dont contribute to the UAI calculation? even when i remove *all* subjects *but* the distinction course, i get no aggregate mark calculation, whereas if i remove all subjects but (say) physics, then i get an aggregate mark calculation for that...

    Knocking off Ruse

Re: Knocking off to Ruse what you're forgetting is that students go to Ruse in yrs 8, 9 and 10 as well, before the senior years. the "guys who left for Ruse" in your grade, they weren't at the very top of Ruse, now were they? for the sake of argument, assuming they were at the bottom of Ruse...

    The Official Cricket Thread 2006/2007

funny you should say all of that. have you seen the test score? south africa, currently 6/110, Prince and Hall batting. frankly, i support south africa against australia (basically bcos i hate the aussie team's immense ego, especially ponting, the retard), but really... im quite disgusted. im...
