if you haven't done any units that can be credited then you'll have to start a fresh. depends on what course.. if your curious, Med Sci @ UNSW, 95.10 ATAR cut-off - needs a Distinction avg.

depends on cohort size, for 90+, i'd aim for top 5 in everything. 95+, top 3 in everything. that was for my school, ranked 280ish in 2010, but got up to 150 this year.
