Yeah.. I mean your getting charged $40/hr for chem tutoring atm.. I'm not trying to advertise haha, but I charge $50 for 2 hours. Unless your chem tutor is OUTSTANDING ~ providing notes/unlimited online help, fantastic preparation, exemplary credentials.. i wouldn't waste my money.

    Calling all high achievers.

wow, tbh that's really expensive for a tutor.. if you just look around this website you can get them for $25/hr and there are some really bright people on this site with 99+ atars. I'm not sure if their marks translate well to tuition, but they'd be worth a go. Yeah for me, I had one for...

    Calling all high achievers.

Quality > Quantity IMO. It doesn't matter how many hour you spend studying.. but it does matter how many effective and smart hours you spend studying. It's important to understand what study method works best for you. Cramming was an effective technique for me, but perhaps for you.. you might...

    Calling all high achievers.

Study on regular days = 30 minutes to an hour, which would usually just be completing homework. Week leading up to assessment e.g. topic test, prac test etc = 3-4hrs a night on one subject. Two/Three weeks leading up to half yearlies/trials = 4 hrs a night, usually one subject a day. - I...

is 85 in 4 unit better than 95 in 2 unit hsc mark not raw

not necessarily.. depends on the paper, but generally a 60/120 in 4unit isn't too hard to achieve.. I can't really talk lol, coz i f'ed my 4u paper, but yeah, for someone who puts in the effort 85 is easily achievable.. hence why about 75% of 4u students receive above 80.

    cellulose

If by condensed formula you mean the "hexagonal" glucose monomers.. then yes. It's really good to know as, if there does happen to be a question about the structure of cellulose - a mark will probably be allocated to drawing the formation of two or more inverted beta glucose monomers to form...

is 85 in 4 unit better than 95 in 2 unit hsc mark not raw

yes.. 85 in 4u -> 45.4/50 scaled mark 95 in 2u -> 45.1/50 scaled mark.. according to talent100 calculator. But the ease of getting those marks are comparative aswell.. 85 in 4u is probably around 60-65/120 raw.. which is about 55% whereas a 95 in 2u is probably a 110/120 raw.. which is about 90%

Is med science hard if you didn't study chemistry or physics in high school?

Where are you studying Med Science? Because, there are different majors that you can choose - and those majors will effect what you study. In most majors, you don't need to know physics.. but biology and chemistry will be useful to know, as most majors delve into bio and chem, whereas I think...
