I once took apart one and put it back together solved. If you tilt one side to a 45 degree angle, the pieces can kind of easily be taken off. Though I have used algorithms to solve cubes before.

That's a very good point... A VA student might need to use a graphics program like Photoshop or Maya, where the superior equipment would be much more efficient (Photoshop uses up RAM like the world's about to end - it's a rather heavy program).
