    General Thoughts: Chemistry

You wont get marks for writing more equations. In fact, it's risky writing more than 1, what if one of them is wrong. You lose marks. I think they won't deduct marks if you've written more than one question provided they are correct. Nor will they award extra marks for extra equations

    OPTION: Industrial Chemistry

The answer is Y because the anode in all cells are chlorine, therefore ruling out X immediately. The cathode in a mercury cell is an amalgam, not just Na therefore z is ruled out. The cathode in y = correct

    General Thoughts: Chemistry

This was a relatively easy exam in comparison to past years. HOWEVER do not be so sure that you will get 90 raw or higher, we have no idea of the marking criteria but we do know that it will be harsh like it always is.
  18. F

Um what is going on - barium sulfate fertilizer reliability

Reliability is whether or not you repeated the experiment. Validity encompasses whether the experimental method was correct and if all variables were kept constant except for independent variable (minimising errors as well)

    Calculation Questions!

If you learn by yourself there is most likely going to be holes in your information since you do not know what is important or not. And then when a teacher explains you're most likely going to be like "I already know this so ill do something else during class" and you miss out on some detail...
