Should the Hadron Collider be allowed?

Yeah, but wasn't all that hundreds of years ago? Times have changed, believe it or not. Well, of course the LHC isn't perfect. And everyone makes mistakes, right?. Nothing is perfect. Or absolute for that matter. And I'm worried about the many misinformed people here on this forum. Maybe if...

Should the Hadron Collider be allowed?

Oh fine: http://news.slashdot.org/news/08/06/23/134251.shtml?tid=271 Wikipedia may not be the most reliable source out there, but its good enough for our purposes. And since when were poisons tested on humans?!

Should the Hadron Collider be allowed?

Wasn't the delay because of technical problems with the superconducting magnets, not 'numerous injunctions filed by skeptics'? No, the chance does not exist, because even if a black hole was created, it would almost instantly decay through Hawking radiation. Do a bit of research, won't you...

What pen have you been using for you HSC exams?

I don't really mind what pen I use, so I've been using the one I got at my graduation ceremony (because it was the first one I picked up before I left to go to my English exam) I should probably invest in some new pens, though.

Whos gonna put their hsc aligned marks into sam ~

If those are what you think you'll get as your final HSC marks, then JUAI says 83.45.

Whos gonna put their hsc aligned marks into sam ~

JUAI is pretty good, it has a reverse function so you can see what marks you need to get a certain UAI.

Kevin Rudd wants to spend OUR superannuation !!

Year 10 commerce clearly didn't teach me enough then.

Kevin Rudd wants to spend OUR superannuation !!

Hm... You have a point there... *does not know much about economics* *looks up a definition of superannuation* Uh... nothing about investment, however, I could be wrong. Can someone correct me?

Kevin Rudd wants to spend OUR superannuation !!

Its money put away for the future, but it should be used by you, and you alone. No-one else should be able to take from the money that you've worked for (well in an ideal world, anyway)

Kevin Rudd wants to spend OUR superannuation !!

I'd rather have my money (or lack thereof) invested into my future, not some government venture... Edit: You do know what superannuation is, right...? It'd be a worry if you didn't....

    Order of sections?

Started with section 1, but then went over time, so did section 3 and had only 30 minutes for section 2.
  17. squeenie

Least Favourite Text for section one.

The short story extract was the worst. Other than that, the texts were okay. I think I might have rambled on a bit in the last question, because then I went overtime for section 1.

Who else has butterflies and feel like they want to throw up?

I don't feel stressed or nervous at all to be quite honest... I've got everything prepared for Friday's English exam, and now I'm just doing some light revision and killing time on BOS. I say bring on the HSC!
