http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Big_Bang_nucleosynthesis http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Energy#Energy_in_various_contexts_since_the_beginning_of_the_universe The 'laws of science' are explanations for what we have observed in nature and the universe through experiments...

    Adam and Eve or Evolution?

Instead of asking everyone else to define evolution, why don't you go find out for yourself? Its not that hard. And you still haven't answered me: And yes, I know there are some parts of it they're unsure of, but its better than rejecting it entirely, or worse, ignoring it.

    Adam and Eve or Evolution?

I remember there was something in the Sydney Morning Herald's Good Weekend section about some creationist guy with all this crazy 'geological proof' of the Earth being only 7000 years old... I think it was a few months ago. I lol'd at the article so much I choked on my tea. My parents were...

    HSC past papers

118? Wow, that's awesome! I usually get 85-90% in maths papers. I lose so many marks to small mistakes, though...

    Adam and Eve or Evolution?

Yeah, I go to a Catholic school, and all my teachers tell us to never (never, ever, ever as one teacher likes to put it) buy into creationism, and that the Bible should never be taken literally.

studying 8-10 hrs a day during STUVAC

Oh really? All I need is 76, and I'm sure getting that won't be a problem for me. But I'm still going to do everything I possibly can when studying, so I can look back on that '4 digit number' and know that I gave it my absolute best. And if I get 90, my name will go my schools Distinguished...

    Adam and Eve or Evolution?

Chaldoking, if you really are Catholic, then why do you reject the evolution theory? Isn't there a general consensus within the Catholic community that evolution should be accepted? Or am I missing something here?

    periodic table

You can find a periodic table at the end of each HSC chemistry/physics exam. Check the Board of Studies website for one of those. But shouldn't there be one in your science textbook?

    HSC past papers

Yeah, I found 2003 hard as well. 2006 was harder than 2007, but they're both not too bad. Do you think they'll make the papers harder this year?

    HSC past papers

For me, the easier papers are the more recent ones... And it seems to be the same with all of my subjects... Maybe its just me.

    H.S.C EXAM protocol

7-12 pens is definitely overkill... I had one that lasted me for the whole of trials. As for uniforms, you'll have to ask your school about that.

Who here still doesn't know their Board of Studies number?

Well they'd need to do that so they can calculate your overall mark.... And even if you did steal my number, you wouldn't get spectacular results... Or wait, are you trying to sabotage my HSC? Evil! BTW, are you Boxes/Crates/Numbers/Letters/Tires? What have you done to get yourself banned so...

Who here still doesn't know their Board of Studies number?

Well then you'd get my results, and I'd get yours :p But then if we did different subjects, the subjects that we do wouldn't match up with the exams that have our numbers on them... then that would present some interesting problems...

Who here still doesn't know their Board of Studies number?

Your UAC number would be your student number, with an extra 1 in front of it. For example, mine would be: 119199274.

Who here still doesn't know their Board of Studies number?

Do you mean your student number? I've written it so many times, I can't help but remember it - 19199274. I've known it since year 10. I almost accidently put it down as my phone number on a form once. Some are 8 numbers like mine, others are 9. I think it depends on your school.

    Sushi

Every time I go to Sushi Train I almost always get this: Caviar sushi, a plate of takoyaki and sometimes salmon sashimi depending on how much money I have.

    Adam and Eve or Evolution?

Wait, if we asked this question in a Christian website, it would be even more biased, which would defeat the purpose of asking in the first place... To get a more accurate sample, we'd have to take into account factors such as age groups, socioeconomic status, gender, education, cultural...
