If I was to HYPOTHETICALLY find child porn...

I once heard about a case where someone had a computer virus that downloaded all that illegal stuff onto their computer without them knowing. When the police caught them, the guy had to hire a computer forensics expert to prove that it was all because of a virus.

    Adam and Eve or Evolution?

QFT. What I don't understand is how some can hold on to their beliefs in creationism like the world's about to end, even when there is overwhelming evidence for the evolution theory... Edit: Oh, wait... I found this...

    What would you do different?

I would have done these things: Done Music instead of Legal Taken up 3U maths Organised myself better... But other than that, I really have no regrets about this. I'm feeling pretty good about HSC now.

    Practical Teachers

I've had some student teachers for some of my subjects, but my teachers are always there in the classroom while they teach. The one I had for Legal was pretty good, she started some insightful discussions in class. We also had one in Physics, but he just sat at the back of the classroom taking...

Which uni should I do science at?

Wow... way to revive an old thread... Moving to Canberra to go to ANU won't be practical for me... Not right now, anyway. Anyways, I've decided on B. Science (Biotechnology/Medical/Biomedical) at UTS. Since UTS focuses more on practical than theory, it would be ideal for R&D. Plus I'd be doing...

    procrastinating: your biggest distractions

BOS distracts me, too. I spend too much time reading articles in the NCAP forum. And today, I had to fix something on my laptop, which took around an hour, because I had to restart twice. But I've managed to get most my study together, and I'm actually feeling pretty confident now for the HSC...

    Scenario: HSC Starts tomorrow?

I wouldn't fail, but I'd do pretty badly. But I think I'd be fine with the AOS paper.

why write # aftter an answer?

It really doesn't matter what you do, as long as you indicate that it is your final answer. I think the best thing to do in the HSC is highlight it, because its easy to see, but that's just my suggestion.

why write # aftter an answer?

Quod erat demonstrandum = that which was to be demonstrated. A Latin phrase that is usually put after proof questions. Its not used a lot anymore, but it does make you look smart...

why write # aftter an answer?

#, QED, underline, highlight, circle... They all basically mean the same thing - "this is the final answer". QED makes you look smart, though.

why write # aftter an answer?

Its just to say that it is the final answer. You'd usually put it after a proof question. I usually put # after my answers, or sometimes I write QED.

    What have you eaten today?

Never eat instant noodles first thing in the morning. I did that today, and I felt so sick afterwards. I had fried mackeral fish with rice and stir fried vegetables for dinner. Healthy Asian food FTW.

How many marks can you lose for transcription errors in the HSC?

I was just wondering, how many marks can you lose for small errors like transcription and wrong signs? I can be really careless sometimes, and I lose most of my marks from small mistakes. And yes, I know, I should be more careful, etc, etc. But sometimes I just can't help it...

worst/best english novel you have ever read in school?

Awww, Kes wasn't that bad... Its not as boring as Henry Lawson's short stories... My favourites are the books we did in year 10: Maus, To Kill A Mockingbird, Romeo and Juliet and The Rabbits. And then everything went downhill in year 11...
