    Belonging peer review

You know, it'd be much easier if you just posted it up and let a whole bunch of us give it a brutal scathing. On a side note, I'm up for reviewing. (Keep in mind I might be total shit coz I have no idea of the texts you're doiing)

    Federer end of an era?

Ah but where would the fun be in that? Clearly Nadal's strategy. Although I am sort of saddened to witness the "downfall" of such a prolific player in the game. He will be lucky to win the US Open or Wimbledon this year, he has few chances left before Nadal gets even better and overtakes him.

UAI 98+: Tutor available for Mathematics 2/3/4U

I have yet to see a question on these maths forums that Trebla hasn't been able to do. Even if he was beaten to answering, I've seen him show quicker methods to the solution. Yes, I've been secretly learning from the guy. Very good solutions too.

Advice for Yr 11 student starting Advanced English

I'll be the 3rd. Don't memorise essays. Memorise an introduction and conclusion only, if you must. Why should you work on adaptation skills when you could spend time working on knowing the module & texts really well? Remember sentence starters, not a whole story. The brain can easily clog up...

    Australian Open

What a first game from Tomic. I thought he was stuffing early and was headed for a 3 set loss. I turn it off for 15 mins and it's already 5-2. *sigh* He might actually win...

Help! Feedback on my PIP topic and plan!

Is the Australian youth moving away from an organized religion and as a result atheism is becoming a substitute and a popular trend? Tbh this topic is not new, there's heaps of research available (especially if you did SOR1). But, nh, it's... average. And for the record, atheism is not...

Ever feel like you're the only gay person at school?

You don't know usually if a person's gay. They're just normal I guess. Until you're checking out girls and they're checking out guys and then you notice.

Going for Hewitt, but atm he's not going to win.

    Australian Open

Right, so who's going to win? Gonzalez or Hewitt? I reckon Gonzalez at the rate Hewitt's playing. If Hewitt picks it up and the match goes to 5 sets, I reckon Hewitt.

How to answer essay question properly

Depends how good you are. If you can argue and change the way you analysed the technique to suit the question, go for it. But if you're mediocre and can't think on the spot to save your ass, make sure you memorised enough techniques to shove in. To be honest though, the technique + analysis...

What would you guys give this story out of 15?

Very good. Excellent if I must say. I'd give this one a 12 or 13 out of 15. I'm not sure you'd want my opinion, but there are 2 things I would change about it for the better: That last sentence, it's not a very high impact statement. Sort of like it's brilliant the whole way through, and...

How to use textbooks to write notes?

Re: Recommended Texbooks/Study Guides for Preliminary HSC? THE ESSENTIALS OF NOTE MAKING 1) Do NOT write everything just because you "think it's necessary". You would be contingency planning too much. As soon as you think "because it's necessary" chuck your pen out the window. Get a new one...
