    AOS essay

Include techniques and arguments that work with all your texts. As for belonging or not, it depends on what you think (in regards to the essay question). Like with your homework "The need to belong marks us as human and it is such connections that lead to fullfillment" you can choose to argue...

    School Certificate Help.

*sigh* History and geography, you actually have to study for. Whatever long responses you had to do throughout the year will be tested. ie some personality study, 1969 referendum stuff, a migrant issue etc Science? Look through your book 5 times. That's it.

Relaxation- How do you do it?

Boxing, wii boxing, physical violence type of stuff. Piano playing. Tennis. Reading. Creative writing. Chopping stuff up. Easy maths questions (lots of them). Basketball. Actually, most sports.

    MedEntry or Face2Face

So at the 2 day session, it's like a lecture? You sit, they talk?

Will look over your creative writing

hmm how would you classify it if I said I use the thesaurus to get the more... symbolic/meaningful word? Like say instead of saying "delicate rose" I use the thesaurus and get "porcelain rose" to make the flower seem more fragile. I know what porcelain means, I just hadn't thought of using it...

Will look over your creative writing

Whoa. Thank you for that. Not even my English teacher wrote that much on it. Do you mind if I fix it and get you to look at it again?

    Attention: Year 11's and 12's

Yeah they do. BUT if you want to get 3u Jones & Couchman, there's 2 of them. Book 1 3u has heaps of 2u and I think 2/3 3u topics. Book 2 has all 3u. Getting on top of calculus and trig would be your best options I think. Just remember to take a 1/2 week break yeah? It's not on my ass if you...

    Wanted.

Interesting twist, hard to believe, and confusing ending. Anyone got any idea what the "what the fuck have you done lately?" part was about? A potentially good story ruined by shitty direction and pedestrian special effects.

    Attention: Year 11's and 12's

Hmm, forgot about that part. For a textbook that's easy to grasp the concepts of, I'd try using something like the Jones and Couchman book. It just says 2 Unit maths on the cover. It's old and easy to learn from. Or, if you must, use Maths in Focus. It's an atrociously easy book, use it to...

    Attention: Year 11's and 12's

This person has it about right. But Jacaranda Physics can get a little too long winded. I reckon Physcis Contexts is a better option (most school use Jacaranda anyway). Also, 3U Fitzpatrick is pretty good too. Hmm, while your at it, for HSC 3U I'd recommend the Terry Lee book. DO NOT TOUCH...

has any1 had any assessments yet?

Yep, complex numbers, am getting results tomorrow... crap. I so didn't do any good compared to everyone else (4 others). I mean, the test was pretty ok, so every single little friggin mark counts

    Removal of Conics from Syllabus

They're replacing conics with something called Discrete Maths. It's probability/stats related - I've heard it's first year uni maths with a failure rate of about 50%

    Bad Teachers

qft. My English teacher - she's lazy, doesn't know her stuff properly, and even worse won't actually help you when needed. AND to add insult to injury, you have to do the work that doesn't help you conceptually to understand anyway. Instance of bad teaching: I ask her to read my essay, she...

    tired

Eh good to know I'm not the only one. Between my 6 day school week, tutoring and all, I don't have much time to do anything else other than school work and piano. I have a feeling it's the fact that year 12 started only after a 2 week break, stupid first assessments

    English Essay Help

Perhaps learning alternate words would be appropriate here. but, don't fall into the trap of chucking in tonnes of big words for the skae of it, it makes your writing very tiring and takes away from the effectiveness of your argument. Constantly editing past essays help. I'm not too sure...
