    Cheating in HSC exam

No matter what, you're always going to have people cheating in exams. Just like there will always be horrible people. I guess its just something that we just have to put up with.

    Cheating in HSC exam

If a tree fell in the middle of a forest, and no-one was around to hear the sound it made, did it make a sound at all? ... Sorry. I couldn't help myself

    Cheating in HSC exam

Yeah, its so easy to do something like that. The pockets of my school blazer are perfect for stashing notes. Or I could hide them in my skirt, if I was desparate. Well if a cheater doesn't get caught, then their bad karma will come back to haunt them. It always will.

    90's music.

I once sung random Backstreet Boys songs with my friends. Except we were sober. I used to hate Backstreet Boys too... Now I don't really mind their songs. I like Spice Girls now for some reason... I blame the HSC.

Photoshop VS Paintshop Pro VS Illustrator.

Yeah, we shouldn't put Photoshop and Illustrator on the same level, seeing as they have different purposes. I think a better comparison would be Photoshop/Paint Shop Pro/Fireworks (or something like that) Photoshop FTW.

    Who else is over it?

I know how you feel. It's so easy to get de-motivated now... But don't give up, everyone else is in the same boat, and all we can do now is give it all we have. At least you have university (or whatever you're planning to do after year 12) to look forward to. I know I'm looking forward to...

    Dreams about the HSC.

I had a dream that I got a UAI of 90... All my friends then started calling me up and asking me for advice on their upcoming exams, and I tried to tell them that the HSC was already over. In another dream, I was about to do my Chemistry exam, but when I got to school, the exam hall was on fire...

    ☼☼☼Want new MuSIK Player - no Ipod☼☼☼

And also, the Ipod's sound quality isn't all that great, either. It's good enough for the average person, but you can really hear the difference when you compare it to better mp3 players out there.

Are we getting laptops next year? (from schools i mean)

Well basically, the laptops will be the school's property, and you can use them in lessons. My school already has some (but we don't use them that much). By the way, the article you mentioned is talking about the One Laptop Per Child movement. The ones that you guys will get will be regular...

    Hypothetical situation

I'm in a similar kind of situation... So if I got upwards of 90 in my exams, and my ranks are mostly average, what would I get? Would I have any chance of 80? I do: chemistry, physics, standard English, legal studies, mathematics (not general) and 1 unit studies of religion. My school is ranked...

Looking to buy a Laptop; Should I get a Mac OS or stick with a Windows OS?

Windows Vista uses battery life like it's going out of style. If I'm running Vista on my laptop, it lasts only 2 hours, while if I'm running XP, its around 3 hours. It doesn't help that my laptop's battery itself isn't all that great, either. Mac and Ubuntu would be an awesome combination.

Looking to buy a Laptop; Should I get a Mac OS or stick with a Windows OS?

Linux would be infinitely more awesome if you could get Photoshop and Dreamweaver to run on it (there are some times when WINE just won't cut it :(). I was thinking of doing a bit of web design after HSC to earn some extra cash. Oh well, guess I'll just do it on Windows then. Windows Vista is...

    School Chaplaincy

So you're saying that the Church and the State should somehow work together in this... It all sounds so good in theory, but do you think people are going to like the idea of the Church and State working together? So many people think they should be kept separate, seeing either one as being an...

    School Chaplaincy

Oh right, I forgot about that... So if corporations are going to hypnotise our kids, and priests are going to rape them, where does that leave us? Seems like you can't trust anyone these days...
  16. squeenie

    School Chaplaincy

Yeah. You have a really good point there. I'd rather have my kids listen to a chaplain than listen to some corporate crap. But I think if corporations would just behave themselves (which unfortunately, they don't), they wouldn't have to be seen as a threat.

    School Chaplaincy

Yeah, I misread it... But what was so bad about what Ignatius Loyola said? I thought it was a good quote..

Wait... What's so bad about the Jesuits...?

I really honestly have no idea what to do..

... Well yeah... What I really mean is that since petrochemical reserves are running out, alternative fuel sources such as ethanol and hydrogen fuel cells are going to be needed. Most of that falls under the category of organic chemistry. Also, medical science is a good option to take. Sarah...

I really honestly have no idea what to do..

So something like Environmental Science? Organic chemistry is also a good option, what with all the search for alteranative fuel sources etc, etc.
