Which subject is best and why? Chem, physics, bio

ok, that, is COMPLETELY off target. chemistry is by far, the best scaling science. i checked uac, and did the maths, and checked other people's results. To get scaled to a 40 aggregate mark (roughly a mark of 90-95 on test) you have to get a mark of at least 82. whereas physics, a 40...

Which subject is best and why? Chem, physics, bio

chemistry, because it's more factually based. physics .. sucks, because it's actually very boring, and it's the same over and over again. Can't use it in real life very much, not even in everyday situations. whereas chem, oth, can be used everyday. eg, boiling water. a short container boils...

do you wear glasses + how much do you study for?

hmm im really bad. left: -4.5 right: -3.5 so seriously, I practically need them for normal everyday living. Put it this way, size 12 times new roman font has to be about 10-15cm in front of my face before i can see anything properly. I study about 1-1.5h on average most nights. But I'm a little...

Scaling issue, help fellow 09ers! (or fellow members)

Put it this way. An 88 in most subjects will scale to 88. Higher than that, you get scaled up. Lower than that, you'll get scaled down. With your ability, I think you'll be able to do it. If you're still hesitant, test the Student Assessment Modeller (SAM) it's relatively accurate...

Screwing up Maths and Changing Subjects

see... there's where you're going wrong. the "as long as you know how to do it theory and no need for practice" in maths doesn't work. i used to do it all the time, and breezed past everything easy up til now. i used to be like top 2 in maths every year, and then laziness comes back to haunt me...

Looks like Im getting kicked out of Extension

Hit the textbooks. And I mean it. The first time I ever "failed"(by my standards, and no I'm not being arrogant) it hurt, real bad. So hit the textbooks, it makes you feel better knowing that you can work hard and rise above. And plus, it's the only way you get good for maths.

    Most Interesting Subject

each has its pros and cons, but so far, its gotta be extension maths for me. its satisfying when you can actually come up with your own solution(s) to questions. and just because its a competition between my friends and I to see who gets it first. lol english - has a lot of potential to be...
