    UAI Estimate

Re: What UAI are you aiming for? Well, congrats on the marks man! :) Anyway, I reckon you could be looking to get about high 80s to low 90s. (And I see your school is ranked 560. I took it into account) ie 87 - 93 However, you might just want to watch how you perform on your major...

    Pharmacy at USyd

GPA - Grade Point Average. It's an average range of the marks you get for a particular course. eg. between 70-85 is a distinction I think. I'm not too sure. Is it necessary? Most probably. You're going to have to stand out and be the most "attractive" (i use the word loosely) applicant to...

    Question about subjects

If you're a slightly above average student as you say you are, I'd recommend economics. I think you'd enjoy the challenge that the course offers, as business studies is a pretty basic, plug-and-play type of subject.

    Another UAI estimation.. sorry!

Harsh or not (sorry if I'm blunt) but runnable's got it pretty accurate I think.

    Subject Selection Dilemmas (Queries)

Eco - is very applicable to real life. The main reason people think it's harder than most other HSIE subjects is because the terminology and concepts are realistically speaking, harder to grasp. Legal - An otherwise straightforward subject, providing you do the stuff. it's useful in the sense...

**IMAGE: (the truman show) RELATED TEXTS??? plse help!!

I did The Truman Show in year 10. If you can tell me some of your related themes or stuff you have to cover, I might be able to match it with the texts that I got. If it's related to advertising, superficial stuff, I can help for sure then. I got a poem, a book and something else. I think it...

    How Do You Study?

I do both, (though I might not be an '08er, but I still study). I do syllabus dot points. Revise them for about 3-5 days. Then I do a past paper. Whatever i get wrong, I go to the appropriate section in my notes, I'll study that til I know it. Then I'll collect the parts I need to study, and...

    Macbeth; Contextual Influences

Thought it'd be easier to separate my post. Historical context: ahh... doesn't really have that much in Polanski does it? Cultural influences: ehehe I seem to have literally 0 notes on Polanski... ahh just remembered. Something about Polanski's wife being killed by some Manson guy. Charlie...

    Macbeth; Contextual Influences

Ok, now that I just digged up my old English book. Historical influences: MacBeth was written during the transfer in monarch between the Elizabethan and Jacobean periods (Jacob was Scottish, hence the use of a Scottish King as a reference to the historical context). Cultural influences...

    teach the class

I was given something similar, but for English. Basically, look up, engage everyone's attention, act like the boss. And make sure they know it. Use words everyone understands. For formulas, I'd suggest wriing the whole thing out on the board in big writing. Then write down what each component...

yeah i know this is annoying...

LOL, gotta love the way you asked ;). Cute. Marks would make determining it easier. But I reckon you could be looking at about 86-92. Maybe just bumping up that Adv English a little to say 10th would ensure you get over that 90 barrier I think.

Can someone guide me in subject selection please...

Honestly, you don't need to worry too much about uni while you're picking subjects. Sure by all means, pick up the ext 2 maths, chem, physics... they're the ones you'll come across in the science course @ uni. Since you want to do sound enginerring and composing? Sounds a bit like a music...

    Also Help With UAI/HSC
