McDonald's to charge more in poorer suburbs

I find it funny that the mayor's getting the community to boycott McDonald's in Logan. He's a fattie so he's probably really hurting inside, devastated he can't get his large meals for 50c less than he used to. 1. People in Logan probably can't afford it in the first place 2. McDonald's...

School Uniform + Shopping = No Customer Service!!!

My private school was dero, but not quite as dero as all the other schools in my area. I went to Tweed City one day after an exam and was immediately served/helped when I walked into a shop in my uniform, I think it was Jay Jays or somewhere like that. Then a kid from another local private...

Effects of the Credit Crunch near you

About two weeks ago, I saw a brickie/labourer on my way to work who had made a sign using his surfboard and some duct tape, saying "Brickie/labourer needs work, call 04xxxxxx". he was standing beside the highway near my house, holding his sign for hours and hours. Haven't seen him since, so...

give a girl a helping hand

    Hey, here's what I came up with: Based on De Moivre's theorem: if z = cos@ + isin@, z^4 = (cos@ + isin@)^4 By expanding using binomial theorem: z^4 = cos^4@ + 4cos^3@isin@ - 6cos^2@sin^2@ - 4cos@isin^3@ + sin^4@ Equating real and imaginary parts (ie don't include parts that have "i"...

best small first car to get?

I'm learning in my own Toyota Paseo...they're similar to a Celica and so fuel economical. I went to Brisbane and back (about 2.5 hours altogether) on less than $10 of fuel. I hardly see them on the road or for sale, but if you do find one on sale, GET IT.

Helga's Multigrain is pretty bloody awesome, I could eat it toasted everyday for the rest of my life. And anything from Baker's Delight and Brumby's is pretty nice.
