^ I don't think so, I am pretty sure 14+ you have confidentiality because 14 years olds can make their own medical decisions.

Law classes too big at USyd

Generally two topics per week sometimes more or less depening on the size of the topic, this week we had construction and implied terms.

Law classes too big at USyd

At UWS we had two 2 hr 'seminars' which were really just a way to justify having 50+ people in a tute, my intro to law class had 70 people in it! At Macquarie now we have about 30 or less in a tute and one lecture and tute per week. I prefer the smaller classes, its harder to discuss...

    Cross insitutional studies

Heya guys, I was wondering how difficult it is to organise cross-institutional studies? I am hoping to organise it for two law electives that aren't offered at macquarie. How do the other universities decide whether to accept or reject your application? Is it a merit thing based on your marks...

    refferencing

I just figured things like that didn't really change, anyhow thats irrelevant to the thread. To threadstarter: check ur referencing guide, if you are unsure of what guide to use it should say so in the unit outline otherwise ask your tutor.

    refferencing

Thats weird because when I was in first year at UWS they told us to buy stumcke. The Aus guide should be somewhere on either the school of law or libaray websites

    Big Brother and Equitable Estoppel

Its an interesting point you raise but I imagine they will have covered their arse as Frigid said by inducing the assumption there will be 'a prize' not a cash prize. Also keep in mind for estoppel they must have knowledge that the assumption will be acted upon, have failed to avoid the...

Could someone look over my first contract law assignment?

Woah, he's asking for a proof read and a bit of advise, its hardly plagiarism. Students read others assignments, bounce ideas of each other and study together all the time. Also I doubt any of the people reading it are doing the same assignment. He's not asking people to do it for him so get off...

    Case note structure?

As has been said you don't need to worry too much about ratio and obiter, the main thing is you need to know the main points of law that the case was decided on (or new prinicples that have been established by the case) - that would be the ratio, obiter would only be important if it is...

    bail application

I am not 100% sure, I am trying to remember but isn't it if there isnt a presumption for then its likely they will get bail unless the prosc can convince the court why they shouldnt get bail? Although generally in assessable tasks like these they give you a presumption against to ensure that...
