    YES I said that the paddle wheel was used to show that electrons were charged particles when really all the paddle wheel showed was that they were particles but showed nothing about their charge. Damn, Thomson's experiment would have shown that and it is such an easy experiment to remember...

    Yea I got 0.3m too! And I am fairly certain this is correct because 0.24m was the distance between the anode and the deflection plates relative to the electron which was moving at 0.6c which mean 0.24m was Lv and we had to find Lo... wooo

    Is copper a superconductor?

    In that question I felt like it was a bit of a trick too, but as it was only a 2 marker it didn't seem like it was too hard to score full marks. I stated that the copper doesn't exhibit superconducting properties at -50C so the magnet would not levitate, but it would come to rest even more...
