just wondering, those people who've got an interview, have you received your letter yet? cos i haven't and it's only a week to the interview. who should i call to check this up?

well, they actually send you a letter too, so don't worry about it! if you've got an interview i suppose you should get you letter in the next few days, or else i think you've missed out.

well, we did have to submit a one page personal statement, which i suppose could tell them a lot, plus they had all our trial results from our schools. of course, i think the final decision would only be made when the UAIs are released.

i thought there were no 'open' scholarships as such, that they were all allocated to and awarded by the faculties.

well, i just got a call today saying i've got an interview for a scholarship (faculty of science). kind of scary, since i've never been for any interviews before - sad but true. does anyone have any idea what they might ask?

yeah well i did talk about techniques and all that, except i didn't explicitly say 'Browning's poetry is successful because blah blah blah....' because that's what evaluating is, isn't it, making a judgement?

did we really have to 'evaluate' the texts? - because i certainly didn't.... i just kind of talked randomly about how the individual was trapped by society etc. etc.
