    At the moment it's mechanical and construction/Junior Project management. I work in WA and there are quite a few contractor grads on 170k+. They work long hours 70+ a week, but rake in the cash. Mining is still up there. Rio mining engineering grads had a 150k package this year in iron ore.

    I know a guy who owns an enviro consultancy. Says prospects are good. Hydro - yeh big miners take them. BHPB are looking for a hydro for newman atm. Personally wouldn't pick hydro as I don't like it but if you do, go for it.

    What do you want to end up as? The MAF is similar to the CFA program so it's ideally directed at research analysts etc.

    Get a tailored suit or dont bother. I had a crappy off the rack one and it sucked. Now have a tailored zegna suit and it fits like the bomb and feels much better. Unfortunately for the job im currently doing I have to wear orange shirts with reflective tape on them and steel capped boots :P...
