I've given the 2nd one a shot by just expanding 1 side but to be honest with you this one has me stuck. Spiralflex's method is best method I know of if expanding then rearranging and factoring fails.

I haven't seen one either. Come to mention it, I haven't seen any of the Euclidean modules used outside of 3/4 unit maths. They should be removed completely IMO and substituted with methods for solving ODEs. Volumes could do with a boot too.

Being a university student and having done 4 unit mathematics I certainly think the 4-unit course could get rid of things like the geometry, conics, volumes modules etc and introduce linear algebra modules or methods for solving differential equations. Having spent 3 years in university already...
