    Estimate band 6 cutoff

I think Chemistry is one of the most difficult HSC subjects, so I would say around 80.
  2. J

    Section I: Short Answers

    I got 0.1 rounded off.
  3. J

    Forensic Chemistry

I fell to pieces in the option, I barely knew any of the stuff being asked about.

    Estimate Raw Mark

I only answered about 60-70 marks worth, so I'm guessing about 40. Thankgod for scaling and doing 12 units, Chem was by far my worst exam.

    Easier/Harder Than Other Years?

I found it to be ridiculously hard and I'm rank 5 at my school, luckily not many others who sat the test with me found it easy at all. Why was the entire thing pretty much about calculations?

    Section I: Multiple Choice

Yer that was my argument, the older people are more likely to have CVD aren't they?

    How did you go?

Here's a question, on that last one (I think) in the core booklet, did you guys write about motivation dash points and managing anxiety dash points?

    Section I: Multiple Choice

    Well going off what has been said here collectively, we seem to agree that the answers are... 1. B 2. A 3. C 4. D 5. C 6. D 7. D 8. B (although being argued as possibly C) 9. C (but being argued because it says 'hospital') 10. B 11. A 12. D 13. A (being argued as B, salt needed to perspire, but...

    Section I: Multiple Choice

Good point, I didn't realise it said 'hospital', but I still think C is correct.
  10. J

    Hospitality: how many pages

Both of mine were 3 pages long, according to some study guide I have, the best responses usually fall from 2-4 pages in length.

    PD/H/PE Exam

    1. Alright, could have been better 2. 7.0
  12. J

    Section I: Multiple Choice

I agree, injury is the major cause of death IIRC, so pool fences is right. Meanwhile, I have pretty much the same answers as everyone else here, except I put C for 16 and 20, though they are probably wrong. If true, 18/20 ain't bad :D
  13. J

    How did you go?

It was alright, I'm sick today, so that didn't help, but I got the job done. I really liked the MC.
  14. J

How many people are there in your classes?

    We have about 66 people in our year total. Mathematics - 12 PD/H/PE - 20 Bio - 20 Hospo - 18 English Ad. - 24 Chem - 17

    Hospitality

    Your teaching put D for question 2? Surely that is A, I haven't heard anyone think otherwise. Anyway, my answers: 1. C 2. A 3. D 4. B (not sure) 5. B 6. C 7. B 8. A 9. A 10. A (possibly C) 11. C 12. C (possibly B) 13. B (possibly D) 14. B 15. B (possibly C) Despite being disturbingly...

I am the only one that got raped by that exam?

I thought it was alright overall. Although, everyone at my school seemed to finish and leave early, by the end of the 3hrs, there was about 8/20 people left.
  17. J

    multiple choice answers

14/15 here. Should have been paying more attention on Q15...
  18. J

    noninfectious disease?

Pretty much everyone in my class wrote about scurvy, loved this question.
  19. J

    2008 biology exam

All your answers match what I put, except the last one, which I'm aware I got wrong.
  20. J

    memoir, speech or story?

I did the memoir, which worked quite well with my story. As far as I'm aware, a memoir is essentially a personal recount of a memory or event, most likely written in the 1st person.
